Anyone ever try a snap on OWB holster?

I have been pocket carrying a 442 for a couple of years now but want to upgrade to something more potent. To that end I bought a Simply Rugged Cuna holster and don't like it. Nothing wrong with the holster but I found that putting it on and then taking it off again is a real pain. It is just too much trouble to undo my belt, slide it on, carefully adjust it then slide if off again, if I am only going to go to the store or even to the mall for a few hours or such and I am not going to wear it all day long when I am at home in the house.

I have seen several OWB holsters that use belt loops that allow you to snap on and off the holster on your belt without having to almost undress. Has anyone here used such a holster and if so what are your opinions about them?

I've never used one (I prefer IWB) but I have a couple of friends that swear by theirs.

Lobo Gun Leather makes a real nice one that is priced reasonably.

Another option would be a paddle holster.

I'm in a work situation where I have to take the holster off regularly, sometimes several times a day. A paddle holster (Serpa in my case) works great for this. I would not be comfortable with snaps on an OWB, nothing to hold it on if they come undone.

I Have been using a snap off holster from Lobo for the past couple of weeks and it is simply great.
There were times I pocket carried a smaller gun because I did not want the hassle of putting on a holster for a quick trip to the corner store.
I can put this one on while going out the door.
Great quality and value and he will make it just how you want it.
I use several paddle holsters for competition but most don't hold the gun in tight enough for CCW to suit me,at least.

I normally recommend the Alessi CQC/S for this use. I didn't realize that Lobo had copied it.

I use my Alessi CQC to carry my Sig 220 and it is very secure and discreet.

I'm also big fan of Paddle holsters and have several that I use for different purposes.
1. Blackhawk CQC Serpa Paddle for teaching, casual competition, casual CCW (sticks out a bit) and indoor duty (LE escort stuff).
2. Comp-Tac Settable Cant Paddle for discreet CCW (high and tight) and serious competition (a bit faster)
3. Fobus or Uncle Mike's Paddle for range work (loaner) and casual CCW (quick trip outside)

The advantage of the paddle holster is that it is easy to slip on, secure and allows more latitude in placement on the belt (belt loops don't matter)
