Anyone have a Sig 226 with Suppressor

Does anyone have a Sig 226 with a sound suppressor attached? From the sounds of it, the 226 with a supressor is the quietest 9mm pistol available. How does it shoot? Any pictures? Thanks.

First of all I can read, and no I don't have a 226 with a suppressor. What I do have is a Sig 239 SRP (suppressor ready pistol) with a SWR Trident 9. The 239 has the same controls; however, it has a single stack mag. I had to put the taller sights like the 226 SRP and 229 SRP come with to see over my can. It came with a factory threaded barrel (13.5mm LH), and it came from the factory with 4 magazines (8-shot in 9mm). The 239 is much more compact than the 226 and 229.

With 147gr loads, it is damn quiet.

No really To me it seems quieter than the HK USP and the Glock. I have shot them both in addition to my Sig. This is the first Sig I have ever owned; in fact, I never heard of the 239 until I ordered mine. I love it. I'm not saying that because I'm a Sig snob. There are lots of good guns out there; this is one of them.

I like the 239 better than the 226 because it is more compact, just as quiet, and comes with 4 magazines.




Oh yeah, it has very mild recoil, and it is very accurate, too.

I think Mr. Giggity asks a suppressor question every day. Rock on, man. I'm actually interested in how this thread turns out. My dad is thinking about suppressing his 226.

I have one as well. I use an ACC Phantom can on mine. It's quiet. I've also got barrels for my Beretta 92F (It's quieter on this one) and also for my Glock 17. I'm still trying to get this setup for my Kel-Tec Sub2000 Rifle (not finding much luck on getting the barrel threaded for this as Kel-Tec's barrels are quiet thin).

I also have it barrel adaptor for my GSG 5PK that I did the paperwork to make it an SBR. This one is the funnest to shoot (Think CHEAPER AMMO!)...
