Was playing around at the reloading bench, and put a 8mm bullet into one of my .300 Win Mag cases, and it got me to wondering if anyone had done it. I cant find any data at the normal places. Im guessing performance would be between the .325 WSM and the 8mm Rem Mag.
Anyone have data for a 8mm-300 Win Mag wildcat ?

I could not find any data, but www.z-hat.com does have a reamer for that, so it has been done.
Now my thoughts are that the 300 Win Mag is nearly identical to the 300 WSM ballistically, so the 325 WSM, made from the same case, would be real close to the 8mm-300 Win Mag.
I've found that if you think of a combo based on another case, someone has already done it. That doesn't keep us from thinking about it though.
