Not to be confused with Georgia Arms, which me and many others have had great service from.
A guy is offering me some of the stuff for a set of 1911 grips I'm selling, but I wasn't familiar with them, and reviews seem to run the range, from great, to weak and inconsistent. No mention of it blowing up any pistols, though.

Atlanta Arms Ammo is commonly sold at gun ranges around Atlanta. I've purchased it many times in .45 LC, 9mm, 380, .45 acp and 40. Never had an issue.

QC, notice....

I haven't shot any of the brand yet but the company seems to get good buzz.
They provide the ammunition to the US Army's elite AMU(Army Marksmanship Unit) & a few other military target teams(rifle-pistol).
Some match shooters and hunters use Atlanta Arms & say it's well made.
The prices don't seem bad but there are several small business & target grade firms in the US shooting sports market.

Thanks for the replies, guys. I'm particularly interested in their cheapest "blue box'' stuff, that are re-loads, rather than the more premium,factory-new, black box stuff that is apparantly used by teams like the Army Marksmanship Unit and team Glock, etc.
I've seen the stuff around over the years, so I'm surprised that so few folks seem to be familiar with it. I just called our biggest LGS, and they said they don't sell it any more because the prices went up, but that it had been decent stuff.

Atlanta Arms is very popular on the competition circuit for shooters who don't reload. For recoil purposes, a lot of what they sell can be (intentionally) loaded down to a power level that just meets minimum levels. Not all of it is though - just depends on if its a specialty load. Everyone I've spoken to has positive things to say about it but I've never shot it myself.

Some years ago, before I got back into reloading, the Atlanta Arms ammo would make it down to the gun shows in SoFla. I picked up several cases of their stuff, 9MM, 40 S&W, and IIRC, 45 ACP. It was all the blue box commercial reloads and it all shot just fine.
They are a commercial reloading outfit and they are not "handloading".

I used to shoot the cheap blue box stuff on a regular basis a few years ago.

Seemed weaker and as accurate as WWB.
