The standard roller handle not the Ergo. For the CLASSIC turret??

http://inlinefabrication.com/collec...ght-roller-lever-for-lee-classic-turret-press

Does it help eliminate wrist pain?

Does the handle stay up in the "neutral position or does the weight make it want to fall down?

Is it worth the money?

I have given up waiting for LEE. I wrote them several times. The make one for the standard turret but not their better press?? Go figure?

Thanks

I don't, but thanks for the link. Looks like it might be helpful.

What's wrong with the handle it came with? Mine hasn't given me any trouble, I also have an LCT press. I can't imagine needing one of those. And I'm the poster child for wrist pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, tendonitis, arthritis in the hands, you name it. My press is one of the few things that DOESN'T cause me pain!

Thought it would be easier on the wrist. especially priming on the press. I would paint it BLUE so I could call it a Dillon.;)

Can't answer your question.

I do have the LEE roller handle and like it. I'm old and brittle. The roller handle is much more comfortable for wrist and shoulder. Will never be without one again.

It will FALL if not all the way up or down.

Good for you...my shoulder gets agitated and if it helps on those multi hundred round goes, I'm in! Guess I shouldnt complain, I have younger friends with more physical probs...back to on topic.

What is the LEE roller handle? The one that LEE makes that only fits the Deluxe turret press and not the classic?

You have this one?

Yes.

With the standard aluminum 4-holer, I had to bend the handle about 1/2" farther out to clear the primer holder. I used propane to heat and bend it while in a vise and it just clears the primers, but works very smoothly. The mount has 'V' notches that locks the postion of the handle in place. I prefer that last handle push that seats a primer to be up a little past 12:00. That makes the lowest handle position at about 8:30.

It really does help. Your wrist doesn't need to move at all and it "feels" like you've gained additional leverage. I load about 1200 9mm /month---for years.

I tried the roller handle on my LnL AP and did not like it. I could never get it lined up exactly 90° to the bench, so setting primers was always at somewhat at an angle.
I went back to the ball, then acquired the pool ball shown below. Very large and smooth and it turns in your hand as your stroke progresses. If it happens to be a little sweaty I puff some baby powder on it.
I changed from my LCT to the LnL because of 1/4 of the strokes needed for each round completed and the pool ball completed the process for me and my 77 year old shoulder.

I considered the pool ball idea. May just go that route

Guess I need a red #3:D

Adam Neat is where I got mine too, but on another forum, Castboolets.
He is a very good calligrapher too. I still have the envelope mine came in.
Last October when I got mine he had red 3's and black 8's.

Since I use both a Deluxe and a Classic, I didn't want to spend the dough for two different roller handles. I kept the standard ball but wear a fingerless bicycle glove with padded palm. Helps a lot.

the pool ball and baby powder works great for me. My big old hand fits the pool ball better than the original wood one.

I had the Ergo one - the one with the bend in it. It was great. Comfortable. No more bending over. I like it so much when I upgraded to a LNL I got another one.
