i bought one last week just seemed too cool to pass up
the manual reads
operators manual for 66mm light anti tank weapon (law) system m72a1, mf2a2, m72a3 and practice rocket launcher m190 with m73 practice rocket

the gun reads 11/, 77 but the manual reads april 1982 the one on the cover looks just like the one i have did they just update the manual or did someone just piece together some pieces

and all together i got the launcher, dummy rocket and manual any idea on value?

thanks

thanks i paid right in the middle 220 it seemed really cool at first but as time passes it looks more like a tube with sights

Sounds really cool for sure. Any pictures for us? Maybe we all should get one just to anger the all the anti's even more. I stopped with the grenade launcher on my SKS as it was an incidental thing anyway. I wanted the one with the regular bayonet and that's what it came configured with.:)

Not a rocket launcher, but close, like in horseshoes and grenades.......:D

I have a couple of LAW`s that I kept from when I was in the ARMY...........Have no idea what they are worth thow.

LAWs are selling in the $200 - $400 range depending on whether they have the front sight intact and the end caps, and the version, M72 or later. Rockets are a big plus, and sell for about what the launchers sell for.

You can use Estes rockets if you want to actually fire it.Shorten the fins until the rocket just fits inside the tube. Then use piano wire through the head crisscrossed and bent back on the ends. This keeps it roughly centered in the launcher.A 9 volt battery can be used if the originals can't be found. As long as the head doesn't explode, its just a horizontal launch platform,as apposed to a vertical one,and legal. Not very accurate, but fun at the (private) range! We used to have lots around the house as they were considered disposable by Uncle Sam.Wish I'd kept a few at 200 bucks each.
