AP-4 308 York Gun Show

Well I was at the York PA gunshow today, It was surreal, I thought I was in a sci-fi movie where the earth was overcrowded with people. I have NEVER seen that many people there before. The line almost went off the York Fairground parking lot and when I left at 1130 the line outside was still 400 yards long. I finally found a DPMS AP-4 308 and bought it. They had PTR-91's but I went with the AR platform for now. EBR were plentiful and 223 was going for more than my 308 on alot of tables. Ammo was moving but reloading supplies were very busy.I got a case of Winchester ammo and plan to do the break in as good weather allows. Any advice from DPMS 308 owners is appreciated!:)
 
My advice is to replace the trigger.That is all it needs to be a great rifle.Oh,and a Badger tactical latch,and a CAA stock saddle.I love my 308AP4,you will too.Congratulations on a good buy.
 
The DPMS LR-308 AP4 is a nice rifle. My example is still new to me. My wife and I just had a baby so I've only been out once to shoot it. All together I have 3 DPMS Panther rifles the other two are AR-15's they shoot great and are completely reliable. EBR family photo:
