Knowing how liberal the Washington Post newspaper usually is, it was good to see a decent reporting by Dan Zak on Friday 23 April 2010 of the recent Appleseed Shoot in Buckingham County, Virginia USA.
I have scanned the actual piece that appeared in the Wash Post and (attempted to) attach a version of it in an Adobe PDF file, with due credits to the Post and to Dan, the reporter. It is the first time I have tried to attach anything, so I hope it works.
If the attachment doesn't work or doesn't suit, you can see the article and the web-only photographs on the Washington Posts web archives, though you might have to register to create a log-in (free).
Mr. Zak gives a fair rendition of multiple aspects of the 17-18 Apr event, and asks a number of questions of participants, then gives a reasonable sampling of the replies. He or his photographer captured a number of good images of the event. I was not at this event myself, so I am not fit to comment on all aspects of the reporting and editing, but I would guess most of the participants and organizers are OK with the result.
Anyone who was there and want to comment on the coverage? Or comment on the shooting?
