RIFLE CLINICS THAT CELEBRATE THE CONSTITUTION
Learn to shoot or improve your shooting skills.
Any rifle will work, but semi-autos are easier to master.

The Constitution was signed on September 17th, 1781 by the delegates to the Constitutional Convention. This document, along with the Bill of Rights, contains the rules and regulations for our Republic. There are many people that believe this is the most important document in Human history.

However, we (the American public) have allowed the anniversary of this important date to be forgotten. This date should be celebrated with as much, or more gusto than July 4th.

With these thoughts in mind, the Revolutionary War Veterans Association are putting on a number of RIFLE CLINICS around the nation. But that’s not the best part; women, children and young adults under 20 attend FREE of RWVA fees (some ranges charge a nominal daily fee).

These clinics will be held in Puryear, TN - Raton, NM - Piru, CA - Three Forks, MT - Davilla, TX - Long Lake, WI - New Breman, NY.

The bad news is: THERE ARE LIMITED SPACES AVAILABLE at these events.
REGISTER NOW.

Why no AK yet?

No one has invited us ;)

Set us up a location, we will send some Instructors up. There are several that are chomping at the bit.

One of the goals for 2009 is all 50 state and a couple of territories

Seriously, Appleseeds travel very well, that is what we do, so if you have a location in mind and are willing to help us set up some of the details, let me know. There may still be time in 2008 to make one happen.

I will be one of the Instructors at the NM shoot in September. I am not afraid to fly, I will be the first RWVA Instructor to volunteer!

If you are serious and have a location, lets get to work.

As a proud, former Alaskan resident of the bush, I will volunteer two Instructors from the great state of Washington to come to Alaska and help with the proposed shoot. Cosmoline, if there is anything I can do to help get this idea rolling just let me know.

orvpark, let us know how the experience turned out.

Thanks funfaler for the updated list of Appleseed locations. If you are within driving distance of any of these shoots, please join us to celebrate this important anniversary.

It is important to remember the sacrifices made, blood spilled and the Fathers, Sons, Brothers, Mothers, Sisters and Daughters that didn't make it home, just to give us the rights laid out in this short document.

Remember the Heritage and Traditions that made this country great!

I officially invite any Appleseed event to SC. I do not however have a decent facility to offer. The longest range I know of is 200 yards and it's a private club.

Guess I'll be driving to GA at some point.

Don't need more than 25 meters, for an Appleseed. Longer is nice, but we do many Appleseeds at only 25 meters. I hosted one on my farm, 54 shooters, all at 25 meters.

So, you have a place, we will bring Appleseed to you, save you some gas ;)

Send me a PM with an email and perhaps a phone number. I will get you in touch with the Appleseeder that is heading up the effort to get SC's first Appleseed lined up.

You can have one before the end of November:what:

Looking forward to your PM.

Appleseeds

I learnt more at my first Appleseeds in two days for $70.00, than I had in five years of "practice" on my own. Only perfect practice makes perfect, and Appleseeds teaches perfect practice that can be taken home to perfect the skills of the Rifleman.

The system used (the AQT) was instituted around the time of the Great War - think Teddy Roosevelt's time. It is time-tested and battle-proven.

A Rifleman can engage any target within a half-mile diameter circle - virtually anything he can see with is nekid eye - all with a rack-grade rifle, surplus ball ammo and open iron sights.

In my first ever NRA HP competition, I did just that - I scored two "9s" with a truly rack-grade AR, using standard A2 sights at 600 yards. I do not say this as a boast, as I am not all that good - I say it as proof of my training from Project Appleseeds. I am a Rifleman - something that would have been boringly common a couple hundred years past, but sets me apart today. This fact is not a point of pride for me so much as it is a sad testament to modern America.

Appleseeds seeks to rectify this insult to the Founding Generation. Our Forefathers were masters of the firearm. In addition to rifle marksmanship, Appleseeds also teaches American History, specificall the the events of April 19, 1775. Through the telling of the factual events of that fateful day, Appleseeds shows the hard choices that were made and the price paid by men and women of great courage, possessed of a passion for Liberty that knew no boundaries. Can you say "Give me Liberty of give me death"?

There is no hidden agenda to Appleseeds - just marksmanship and history - nothing more and nothing less.

Go to an Applseeds event and honor the Founders sacrifice - they did it for their posterity and they said so at the time. Do you know of whom they spoke when they said they did it for their posterity? They are talking about You!

Obligations

Thanks 41magsnub. We need more participation in all these puppies!

Has the American public forgotten about our obligation to participate in governing this Republic?

Why not just sit on the couch? You wouldn’t want to miss your favorite NFL team on a Sunday afternoon in the fall? These great American heroes that move the pig skin up and down the field. Which one will be arrested next? Will it be for drug possession? Or maybe manslaughter?

How about learning about some REAL AMERICAN HEROES?

On April 20th, 1775, John Adams (our 2nd President for those of you that slept through 3rd grade history) traveled down, what we now call Battle Road, the road between Concord, Massachusetts and Boston, Massachusetts. He witnessed the destruction, the utter chaos, the widows and orphans turned into refugees.

A few days later, he wrote: “Posterity, you will never know how much it cost the present generation to preserve your FREEDOM (my emphasis). I hope you will make good use of it. If you do not, I shall repent in heaven that ever I took half the pains to preserve it.

How about it? Sign up for an Appleseed. Learn about the sacrifices of our forefathers. Learn about the Heritage and Traditions of the American Rifleman. Learn about how you can become involved in preserving our great Republic. What better day to learn these things than on the Anniversary of the signing of the United States Constitution.

Bring your Children. Bring your Grandchildren. Bring your wife, mother and sister. Children, young adults under 21, women and current military shoot all shoot FREE of charge.

Don’t stop now, follow this link and sign up: http://appleseedinfo.org/smf/index.php?topic=1043.0

Your owe this to your posterity.
