Hey, all you AR guys, got a question for ya. Ran across something the other day while I was out on an errand the other day. Met a guy and we were talking. He has AR 20 rd. mags( Colt dated 10/69 and Adventureline dated 10/70) that are absolutely pristine. They come seven mags in a dated cardboard box. The mags have absolutely no wear on the finish or followers. The cardboard boxes have sharp square edges and look like they just came from the factory. These have obviously been sitting somewhere for many, many years, untouched. It's like they were brought here in a time machine.
After doing some digging on the net I found out that this is the way the govt. issued mags back then. Seven mags in a cardboard box.
He's quite proud of them, if you get my drift. Any ideas on what something like that would be worth as a Colt/AR collectible. Possibly one of a kind, I've never seen anything like it before. Any help would be appreciated.
