AR gas key staked properly?

Hi there!

I'm new to AR's and have a question...
I have a Stag Arms Model 2T and how does one tell if the gas keys have, or have not been staked properly?
A picture would help greatly. From what I understand, mine is done right. But I'm really not sure.

If it looks like some ape took a chisel and gave the key a couple whacks, then you have a typical STAG staking job. I love my two STAG's and think they make the best bang for the buck in an AR these days. However, their staking jobs leave much to be desired. I sent both carriers off to a guy that does AR work and had them restaked properly.

I think you'll be happy with your STAG. Get the carrier key restaked if it looks suspect and drive on.
