Are all AK-47 parts kits on backorder?

Are they in stock anywhere?

what exact parts are you looking for? did you try brownells, midwayusa, natchez or tapco?

Plenty on gunbroker, but w/ the ban on barrels with newly imported kits the good ole days are long over...

I believe the OP is talking about PARTS KITS, ie. old rifles with a chunk of the receiver cut out with a welding torch.

The days of the cut-receiver but otherwise complete AK kit are long gone. Used to be able to buy Romy G kits for $100 but now they're selling on GunBroker for $350+. It's almost cheaper to buy a Saiga and convert it than it is to buy a parts kit and receiver and rivets and wait for a build party to borrow a riveter.
