And are they all .32??

They are really cheap at SOG, and I've been wanting a walther for a while, but can't ever seem to drop the $$$ on one. I've looked at the bersa's, but am not really sure about them.

I hear a lot of good things about CZ's, and wonder if the 70 is a good choice as a compromise for the pp..

The CZ 70 is a redesign of the CZ 50. The CZ50 and then the CZ70 was the Police and Military carry firearms for the Czech Republic until the CZ 82.
Most parts will interchange. The CZ 70 is about the same size as the Walther PP and yes as far as I know all the CZ70s are .32 ACP. It is a take off of the PP with several changes for ease of manufacture. I have one and other than a bad magazine I've had no problems. BTW Numrich sells Magazines and parts for it. Like the PP the double action pull is terrible, follow up shots not so bad. I don't like the deep serrations on the trigger but hey, for a hundred and 30 dollars it's a bargain.

James is right about the CZ50/70 , as for Bersas they are usually 380ACP and are a much better value than Walthers (I've owned 3 Walthers) . My wife even traded her Sig P230 for a Bersa . I would pick carrying it over the my CZ70 because of the caliber difference since they are both virtually the same size .

The CZ 70 allows for cocked and locked, DA with safety off, or DA safety on. It comes in .32, it's pretty accurate. The CZ 70 may be a little shorter than the Walther PP... but longer than the PPK.
