I've read that Lapua is now making at least some of their brass with punched rather than drilled flash holes.

I just bought some Norma .375 H&H and it was all drilled.

Is drilled vs punched really that big a deal?

If the Tooling is properly maintained, you would be hard pressed to tell the difference between the two.

A sharp punch setup will not leave a discernible burr.

A dull drill can leave a nasty burr.

It all boils down to quality control.

Using a de burr tool one time is cheap compared to the extra cost of drilled brass.
I neck turn also.
I can't sit still when watching TV. So a little extra case prep isn't a negative.
