If I was to offer the prize , out of curiousity , what would you pick ? Probably my Springfield Longslide huh ? Darn good thing I aint takin pictures of whats in the SAFE !

Hmmm, using my long distance x-ray vision looking into your safe I would take your (not in any order):

a. Select fire M-14
b. Select fire AR-15
c. Full auto HK MP5
d. How about that BAR in the back corner?

Fess up Jaegermeister...I know and you know my long distance x-ray vision is accurate.

Well , yes and no

:D no select fire anything , I aint a Cop or class 3 holder . Full auto , WHY is all I can come up with unless the Aliens are falling out of the sky like frogs in the rain ?
I wouldn't owne an MP5 , too wimpy , I like big bores :D HK Cetmes are my style :D But you already saw those in there :D

I will say... the grin-factor is HUGE with "full-auto". Back in '91 while doing my Firearms Instructor's Update and Recertification Course" at the S&W Academy in Springfield, MA... at the end of the last day (when the testing was completed), they broke for lunch and said that anyone wanting to have a little fun was welcome to come on back. I was the ONLY one who showed up after lunch. They took me to the basement's indoor range and laid about 10 full-autos on the table, cases of various caliber ammo, a pile of clips and told me I could shoot as long as I wanted to (free of charge). The ONLY requirement was... I had to load my own clips. A feller can go through a LOT of rounds in a couple of hours' worth of time !! :D  How do YOU spell "Schwing !!" That was my one and only full-auto adventure, but, I sure enjoyed it !!!

Mine was with a Browning M2-HB .50 caliber in 1988 that a friend had.
to say the least it was breath taking to have that much fire power at your finger tips.

He also had a 7.92mm MG42 which I never fired but understand the psycological effects that weapon had on a many soldier who had to confront it, very fast rate of fire.

LOL Now, THAT would be an experience !!!

I am too cheap to waste caps to clear the flash holes. Before a match I eyeball the flash holes for diameter and blow them clean with canned air. At the shoot just before capping I nipple pick each one. This does two things: it clears the opening for a flash channel and ensures me there is powder in the chamber when I feel the crunch of powder grains. I have snapped caps on empty guns to clear the nipples only to find debris in the flash hole that was not there previously. To me, snapping caps to clear the nipples is a waste of money and only serves to frighten other shooters. That's my opinion. Your mileage will vary.
