i know of recoil buffers, i have one on my kel-tec 2000 9mm and it helps alot should i get this on my ak-74 is it worth it? will it prevent me from cocking the bolt back all the way?

Unless your AK is throwing the bolt carrier out of the receiver every time it moves to the rear, there is no need for a recoil buffer.
Recoil buffers are known to break guns.
