ASM EMF New Model Dakota 7 1/2 barrel

I have a new in box new model Dakota purchased for me by my ex-husband back in 1998. it has never been fired and has been sitting its box, in my closet ever since. I have been trying to figure out a value for it, but haven't found anything that exactly fit the description.

Can anyone help me figure out what it is worth? I'm liquidating some of my "former life" items and have had no luck finding something that fits the description online. Any help is greatly appreciated.

You might want to check similar guns listed online at various auction sites like Gunbroker (currently 3 ASM/EMF Dakota on here), GunsAmerica, or GunAuction. Most of these sites can give you a fair idea what others are asking for guns that are like yours. Keep in mind these are asking prices and check and compare the gun's condition (like new in box, excellent, good, or fair condition, etc.).

For your gun I would say, provided there's no rust or damage done from being stored for so long, a price range of $350 to $400 would be a good place to start.

Thanks so much for your reply to my question. That gives me a good starting place. It is pristine, I've kept it oiled over the years, so there is no pitting and the grips are still perfect. I plan to approach a couple of local single action shooting clubs so I want to present a fair price.
