I've seen a few places selling Astra revolvers for around $150-$200, so, are these descent guns? They look good, supposedly have good quality metal, and most reviews are favorable. If I do buy one, it will mostly be used as a fun gun at the range and ride around in a holster at the farm. Will it work? The only part that looks bad is the price:scrutiny:

Thanks

Astra's are generaly good guns by reputation.

That said, only Astra I have is a veteran of WWI! A Ruby style 1915 7.65mm(.32 auto) 9 shot pistol.

Astras ok in my book

I had a Astra .357 model, and that thing was very accurate. I only had one problem with it and that was the cylinder would not stay in. I looked it over and found the problem. It was the reciever hole that the cylinder pin goes into. quick fix with a tooth pick and I was shooting again.

I have no experience with Astra revolvers --- but I have owned and shot Astra semi-autos. I have found them to be well made and accurate firearms.
