Picked up an ATI C45 the other day (on a whim) I finally had a chance to take it to the range. I was pleasantly surprised at the ability to control such a light pistol. A couple of guys with me were equally impressed with the accuracy of this 45. I had several inquiries from the range master and other shooters about the pistol after they saw the performance of it. I only put 200 rounds through it but had no failures of any kind. When I got it home I took it apart and found no abnormal wear or anything of concern. It is definitely not on the same plane as my sig p220 but a nice pistol considering the price tag.

The ATI pistols are really, really unknown to the community at large. Based on the responses (zero) to threads I've made on them (five on separate forums), either everyone is to scared that they'll cease to be imported or that they won't be any good.

I'm tempted to buy an ATI 9HP and attempt a true review of it.

I had an ATI HP9 for a few months, the trigger would not make the hammer fall in DA after around 300 rounds. I sent it in and received great customer service that included a free 20 rd mag and company hat and t shirt, as well as the pistol only taking 7 days to return.
The pistol always feed and ejected well and never had a jam as long as the hammer was cocked. When I got it back from the GS the trigger would make the hammer fall but it was horrible and they said that was all they could do about it so I traded it. I returned it to the shop I got it from for a $100 loss and bought a 1911 Springfield Loaded with some other cash. The shop owner agreed that the trigger was unacceptable.
I thought the idea of a nice HD 9mm with a 20rd mag that does not sick way out was great, but it did not pan out for me, maybe mine was rare. They are good looking pistols and their CS is awsome, so atlest they got that going for them!

Trigger problems eh? Sounds like the CS is spot-on what any shooter would want. I'd have to feel the trigger for myself. Most people think the trigger on my Charles Daly HP is crap but since I know just where the break is I've never had a problem.

Did not take any at the range but here is a static of it
