Is this a reliable firearm?

I know people had an issue with them before Karh bought them out so i'm just wondering if the qaulity has went up since the new ownership. Can anyone help me on this issue?

I've had one for a few years now. Upwards of a thousand rounds and it's hiccuped exactly twice - once on a bad reload, once when the (aftermarket) magazine failed. On my best day I can pick off empty shotgun hulls at twenty feet or so. A friend who purchased a similar model has had the same kinds of results.

Only downside I had with mine was the parkerizing on the mainspring housing, but so long as you keep it clean and oiled it shouldn't give you any trouble. All in all, not a bad gun for the money.

I have two, one bone stock the other has been worked over . They are both good guns for the money.

I tested one for the m1911.org ezine and it was a fine pistol. I had an issue with the front sight loosening up (an easy fix) and I did not love the factory magazine.
