Looks like it was a lot of fun.

Please tell me the guy shooting the 1911 with the smoke and the beer in his hand was a joke? It appears that it was.

Yeah, it was a joke. Just had to get an ATF shot. ;)

That was a Star BM by the way. Waffen stamped, too.

Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms;) Who brought the chips?:D

That's what I thought, but we have all heard the "Hold my beer and watch this" stories.

Still looks like it was a fun day.

Not really sure what you're talking about. Some of the guns weren't held perfectly still but they were always pointed in a safe direction. Am I missing something in one of the videos?

Ummm, you're probably thinking about a different video on my website. I was the cameraman the entire time at the event I went to and would have probably remembered if someone poined two pistols at me. The event I was at is only mentioned in the very top entry of my blog. Click "more" below the two pictures to see the videos I took.

I just gotta laugh everytime I see your siggy line "with more thrust per squeeze". Sad thing is it was published and a lot of people probably believe it.

Yeah. Funny but sad at the same time.

None of the videos work for me. Everytime I click on one, it takes me back to the homepage. Help?

Try now. It should work.

I normally have something called "Hotlink Protection" enabled. What this does is try to stop people from linking directly to one of my files, essentially using up my bandwidth while generating no traffic towards my site. Seeing as how I pay for bandwidth and I don't want that to happen, I like hotlink protection. I just truned it off for AVI files, though - I don't think anyone will be directly linking to any of those videos.

The vids of the shoot work for me, but not any of the ones in the forums.

What am I missing?

That area looks like the one west of I-17 and north a couple of miles from Table Mesa Road (slightly NE of the north end of Lake Pleasant near the Agua Fria).

Our 4X4 and the BLM just got done cleaning that place up again a few weeks back.

I will say that if people keep littering and not picking up after themselves BLM and the state are strongly considering those areas off-limits for everyone (campers, prospectors, etc. included).

I'm sorry if I sound like I'm putting a damper on your fun day but I've been involved in far too many site clean-ups and the shooters who don't pack up their garbabge is not only giving responsible wilderness shooters, in general, a bad name but it's just plain sickening.

And, I'm not picking on you because I'm sure you and your buddies picked all of your debris up, right? :)

Full auto is fun. Sometimes I miss not being in the Army. My favorite was the M2 .50 cal (except for pulling the charging handle back). Never got to fire it much though.

Glad you had a good time.

Yes, as far as I know we did. I wasn't there the whole day so I don't know what was there before we left, but everyone looked like the cleaned up everything they brought. I certainly picked up all my debris and everyone I know picked up there debris, excluding steel casings from stuff like Wolf.
