I have been shooting sporting clays for a few years as an extra hobby with a few shot gunners I know. Typically, I shoot my M1 Super 90 with an assortment of choke tubes, this gun was my 3 gun shotty for many years an I swapped it back to the 28"bbl with the extended mag still on the gun.

Several of the guys have a selection of o/u guns and I tried a right handed Vertex a few months ago and really liked the stock shape and everything but the cast which was right handed. I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on a Vertex with left handed wood, since I am a lefty and they offer it no extra charge.

Several of the very experienced shooters really like the Rizzini line.

I must say that the rizzini vertex is an exceptional gun. Fit and finish is top shelf. Love the palm swell! This is a true target gun of fine quality. The wood on the example I've had experience with is simply a cut, or two, above Berreta or browning offerings in that price range. It's a lively gun that's easy to shoot well. Very sporty. Expect retail to be slightly higher than an Berreta SP1...

I think rizzini made these for Sig Arms at one point. Can't recall but the they were dropped by Sig for whatever reason. Likely poor marketing on Sigs part. It's not a common gun but it's a great gun. The one I'm familiar with probably has 4K + rounds ( probably much more) through it at this time with no problems. knock on wood because I have no idea who services rizzini in the states.

If I could choose between a good 'deal' on a rizzini vertex and a Berreta SP1 at straight retail I'd likely go with the Rizzini in a quick hurry.
