Swap out your barrels.

Change out your barrel to .357 sig and show me some results for that stuff too. If the .40 can mimic the .357 mag, surely the sig round can do that even better .

How about testing "budget" HP ammo? Like the WWB JHPs, Remington UMC, Fiocci, etc. I think it'd be interesting to see what the differences between these and the higher end SD ammo are.

Any jhp can fail to expand due to a number of reasons like a clogged cavity from heavy clothing,auto glass,hard barriers like doors or even bad angles,and when this happens penetration is key.You will get faster results from hitting a organ or hitting the spine then you will waiting for a extra.010 of a inch to bleed someone out.

It's on ATK's Law Enforcement Ammo site.

Streichers carries it, though they seem to be out right now.

I get my defensive ammunition from Streichers. Reasonably priced and none of the odd availability issues that usually comes with "LEO Only" marked ammo.

I don't think that these results should be typical of all .40S&W guns ... remember that this was 3.5" long barrel.

I shoot 2 of those flavors, outta a 3" and a 3.5" bbl. Thanks again.
