Barnes XPB 225 gr 44 special

Looking for load data for barnes XPB 225 grain in 44 special, would like to use in my Charter Bull Dog as a carry weapon.

That is a poor choice of bullet for a snub nose .44 Spl.

The Barnes 225 XPB is a .44 Mag bullet, designed to perform at .44 Mag / .444 Marlin velocity.

At all the velocity you can get at of a Charter .44 Spl. snub, it will be like shooting FMJ.


The Barnes #42921 200-grain XPB bullet is designed to work & expand at .44 Special velicity.

The #42920 200 grain bullet is intended for use in the .44 Remington Magnum cartridge.
