I just purchased a brand new Browning citori. I cleaned the barrels with a couple patches and hoppes #9 before shooting to remove the goopy metal protection they put in from the factory. I shot about 50 rounds over the weekend and then cleaned it last night. I was surprised when the patches started coming out with some shiny flakes on them. It was hard to tell if they were lead, powder flakes or what. I got paranoid and thought something was breaking apart inside the barrel. I had to run the bronze brush through many times and several patches with CLP and it seems to be gone now. I never noticed this before on any other shotguns. I am assuming nothing is wrong with the barrel since it looks nice and polished inside. I don't have a bore scope, I just hold it up to the light. I was shooting remington Nitro sporting clays 7.5 12g. Anybody ever see this before?

Thanks. I just got really paranoid when I saw shiny (what looked to be metal) flakes on the cleaning patches of a brand new gun. I just never really noticed that before on previous shotguns.
