One thing you will have to consider is whether your want a "springer" rifle like the RWS, (and whether you want a fixed barrel/lever cocker or a break-barrel springer) of if you want to go with a precharged model, like the Benjamin Discovery (which is also a good choice, IMHO).
I have a Gamo CFX fixed barrel in 177 - it is quite accurate, but as others have pointed out, the trigger leave ALOT to be desired. I have an aftermarket trigger for it that I need to work on soon. But, the rifle is reasonably powerful and accurate out to the ~25 yard distances I generally shoot. With a 3-9x air rifle scope on it I can easily hit pennies 9/10 times
