From what I've heard and read so far, the Nova seems to be a big hit with the shotgun crowd (or at least a significant percentage of it).

Has it been out there long enough to get any meaningful reliability/durability feedback?

Mine's been pretty good in the past 3 months of use...not that it indicates durability or anything. I've put about 6 cases of 20ga through it at the trap range.

I really enjoy the ergonomics. It just feels right. Being light really helps swing weight as well. No worries about foul weather with the polymer. It's absurdly easy to field strip, no tools needed. The forearm release is in a good spot too.

That's not to say it doesn't have some drawbacks. The action doesn't feel anywhere near as smooth as my friend's Mossberg 500. Rather than throwing the shell in the chamber, it feels a lot more stiff racking the forearm and I accidentally short stroked it a few times. Also you'll notice the sight ramp is angled higher in the back and slopes down to the front. This can really be aggrivating when shooting longer distances as you have to adjust it down some. I put one of those magnetic Hi-Viz on the front and generally push the sight back up the rail about 6" or so to compensate. Keep in mind too that the Nova is all one piece. You can't change out the stock, so be sure to get one that is the right size. Also you won't find many parts at average gun stores. Once you get it, that's the way it'll stay unless you mail order something.

Really the main reason I bought the Nova was the ergonomics. If it was the same as the other two makers, I would have got something else.
