Benelli R1

I was playing with R1 at the local candy shop. It had the comfortec stock and a railed scope mount. It had a 24 inch barrel but was still quick to point and balanced well. I love the inertia system in my Benelli shotgun and have never had a problem. I'm wondering how well the inertia system works in the rifle.

Has anyone heard of reliablity issues with the R1? Will they be making higher capacity magazine in the future?

Benelli "customer service" is terrible so if the rifle breaks, you may be on your own.
I would never buy another Franchi (Benelli bought them out) or Benelli as a result of my bad experience with their lack of customer service.

Benelli makes wonderful guns. Love the Benelli inertia system as well. Should be fine. I don't think their customer service is all that bad.

Benelli Inertia Recoil

FYI the R1 does not use the inertia recoil.

I seriously doubt you will ever see any high capacity mags for it, as it is purely a sporting arm.
