Benelli Supernova Qusetion.

What kind of quality is the Supernova Tactical? Are they reliable and durable? I heard they have problems cycling and they jam if you pump them to fast. Is this the case? How do they compare in quality to the 870P and the 590A1?

As far as I am concerned, the Nova Tactical is the best pump HD defense gun out there. I haven't had any trouble out of mine, nor have I heard of any from anyone else. Any shotgun will jam if you short stroke it, maybe that is the problem? Cheap ammo may play into any problems also. I had an 870 that wouldn't feed one certain brand of skeet rounds properly.

The Nova and Super Nova are extremely reliable and durable. They are at least as durable and reliable as an 870P or a 590. I've never had any cycling problems or bobbles, and I don't recall off the top of my head reading any posts about others having problems. With the current rebates, the Benellis could be very good values (which is not always the case with Benelli firearms).
