I don't know where you are located, however most Gander Mountains carry the Benelli SBEII and Monte in stock in LH configuration. I live in IL and they have them in stock at my favorite dealer - GAT Guns, www.gatguns.com I'm sure they could sell to you and ship to your FFL if you are out of state. Call and ask for Greg Tropino. You may also want to check Buds Gun Shop, www.budsgunshop.com They have a section just for left handed type guns. Lastly I am a lefty and purchased my Franchi Alcione LH cast model from Michael Murphy and Sons in KS, www.murphsguns.com ( I maybe wrong on the website) but you can google them. If you go with them ask for Mark Murphy. He's a great guy.
Good luck the SBEII here in IL is running around $1200-$1250.
$1350 seems about right. Here in IL that would be pretty close w/tax. The best prices may come from on-line dealers. I know Buds has AWESOME pricing on many guns I'm interested in, I've never purchased a shotgun from them, but I have some shooting buddies that swear by Buds Gun Shop pricing.
The SBEII is a popular model and well worth the price.
I have a standard SBE in LH config, that I bought about 6 years ago and it's given me great service. Never a problem. Benelli make nice guns. You may also want to try: www.shotgunworld.com If you look at the forums section they have one dedicated to Benelli and also have a classified section. I'm sure someone there could help you find the best price and availability. If I couldn't find it locally I would buy another gun from Michael Murphy and Sons. They treated me right and the transaction went very smooth.
