Ok, I need to tap the collective knowledge of the THR community here.

Brand new A300. Will not feed the last round out of the tube; it gets stuck part way onto the lifter. Not an ammo issue as it does this with WW, Remington and Federal from 6 bird to 00 and slugs.

Anyone had the same issue? Thoughts on solution?

My A400 has no such issues, but here is what I would do.

- Take out your trigger group and check for a bent carrier on a flat surface
- Check your mag tube to ensure it is tight and they didn't forget to use threadlocker
- Feel for burs in the feeding area
- Ensure your magazine spring is functioning properly and not bent, twisted or otherwise not fully functioning
- Call Beretta

As it only malfunctions with the last round, I am leaning that direction. Will tear it down for inspection tomorrow. Appreciate the help.

This morning I compared the mag spring with the one in my '89 M1 Super90 which has the original 34 year old spring in it. The A300 is very noticeably weaker despite being brand new. Did some research on the webernet and found I am not alone in experiencing this issue.

Ordered a Wolff, figuring to pay under $10 with shipping is less of a pain than calling Beretta for a replacement that may be no better. If this was a $250 Turkish shotgun I wouldn't have been surprised with the issue. But I expect better of one of the more premier (and pricey) manufactures.
