Beretta Mags

Dad is over in kuwait right now and I had the presence of mind to ask what brand of mags he was issued. The ones that he has are 'check mate'.
Is it these or the mec gars that are causing so much trouble? Also, what kinds of lube work well on pistols over there?

It is not the mecgars that are causing the problem..

Basically you need a CLP oil like Breakfree or MPro.. what these do is float the dirt so all you have to do is a daily wipe and the gun stays operational. Avoid heavy oils or grease since these trap dirt.

My understanding it is the Checkmates that are having problems. CLP will work with daily cleaning as suggested.
