I just bought a Beretta PX4 in .45 acp. All of the literature says the magazine has the capacity of 9>10. All of the other calibers give a specific capacity but the .45 says 9>10. And, they do not elaborate on the details of that ambiguous statement either.
I loaded the mags and found that, as I have read elsewhere, they are exceptionally stiff springed. When I got to the 9th round, I had purple thumbs. You can physically get a 10th round in there but man o' man it is that absolute end of the line and it really does not feel right.
Maybe the manual should say 9 rounds for most people and 10 rounds for those who can pull it off.....................
Anybody have the inside scoop on these magazines?
