So I just acquired an odd little pistol this afternoon and I want to see if anyone can tell me anything about it. It is a Bernardelli .32. On the right side near the trigger guard it is stamped 1953. I don’t know if this is a model number or a date. It is made of brushed stainless steel and the mag release is the European style on the butt at the base of the mag. There is a button on the left rear of the slide that I at first assumed was either a safety or a slide catch, but when you press it the striker releases out the back of the slide and you can then remove the slide. Once the slide is off the striker can be removed and the firing pin spring comes out. It is a single action. There is a safety on the left side just behind the trigger. The sights are simply a long groove along the top of the slide without a front sight. It is in excellent condition and quite intriguing. Any info would be appreciated.
