Berry bullet & 357 loads?

I have a box of 158 gr RDFS Berry plated bullets that I would liek to reload. I have read that I should not exceed 1250 fps with the loads on plated bullets.

I currently have IMR 800X or Ramshot Sillouette to choose from. I can't seem to find a load for Berry bullets using these powders. Any assistance in working up a load with either of these powders would be appreciated.

Western Powders doesn't list load data for Silhouette in 357. And Hodgdon doesn't list 800x data for 357 in 158 gr.

Never have heard of a RDFS. What kind of profile does it resemble?

I have used Silhouette in 38 Spl with a 158 SWC at 5.7 gr. For 357, I would add 10% as a starting point. But that is with my gun, and not yours.

Okay, that makes sense.

Also, I'd set the COAL at 1.590" for starts.
