Good news for a change. If you like plated bullets it looks like the falling prices of commodities are finally showing up somewhere. I don't know how long it's been zero or how long it will stay there but I just noticed Berry's finally dropped the lead surcharge. They have free shipping on orders over $50 too.

I saw that yesterday but they didn't really drop the surcharge, they just added it to their price. 1000 45. 230g RN plated bullets cost about $129.00 last time I bought from them around two months ago. Now they cost $124.22. So the price dropped about $5, big deal.

That's still double the price I paid a couple years ago. I still have some in my inventory but when they run out that's gonna be it for plated. I started casting my own about 6 months ago for this very reason.

Enough is enough with these absorbent prices already !

Yes. It looks like they increased their prices some and dropped the surcharge. I suppose they knew everyone knows the price of lead has crashed so a surcharge wasn't in the cards anymore. Not a good deal.

Regardless of the still higher than a year ago prices, I like it back the way it was. Easier to see what the bottom line will be to compare prices.

+1 lopez

Man.... I just bought some before they droped the charge. Acually a day before. I usally buy form tjconvera but they were out. I paid $84.66 for the bullets and $37.70 for the lead charge for 1000. Total of $122.36. They are now charging $114? So how does $37.70 = $8:confused:

Yeah I looked last week. 1000- 9mm 115gr doublestruck were $79 including surcharge ($57 without surcharge). Now they are $69. It looks like they split the difference.
