Besides cutting it in half and counting the rings

Ran across some great posts, a time ago, which discussed how one might tell the age of their ’58 , by the markings upon it. Can’t, for the life of me, find those posts, again. Does anyone know of their whereabouts? Or, can anyone say where I might find the indications of the revolver’s age? Have saved the box it came in, as well, if that can be of any help.

There will be a small square box with two initials in it.x=54xi==AA=75BA=91. If you post the letters in the box someone will tell you.

Thank you, both. According to the "BB", on the inside of the box, the '58 Target model was born in 1992 .

The info will help me to learn a lot more about the revolver.
