Secret Agent Man?

Here is one of the more bizarre conspiracy theories: An Egyptian government newspaper claims that the U.S. hunt for terrorist leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi (search) is all for show because Zarqawi is an American agent.

An editorial in Al-Akhbar says that Zarqawi is targeting Iraqis — not coalition forces — which proves he's working for America.

What's more, according to a translation by the Middle East Media Research Institute, the paper believes that Zarqawi's allegiance to the United States proves that his Al Qaeda boss, Usama bin Laden, has been an American agent since the 1980s.

The paper claims that the Zarqawi's "massacre of the Iraqi people" is meant to strengthen America's hold on a region vital to U.S. interests.

add this to the recent reports about the airliners not actually being capable of knocking down the two towers, and the fact that we spanked the taliban, but keep barely missing capturing bin laden, and you've got one heckuva theory!

I like a good conspiracy...

airliners not actually being capable of knocking down the two towers

Have you seen the video of WTC 7 coming down? All tinfoil and whatnot aside, it sure looked like it was brought down with a measure of control.

Also, did you guys hear of the earthquake in Jepan? That makes a big one in Indonesia, multiple small ones along the West Coast, and a medium one in Jepan within the last several months... Could the big Cali quake be drawing near?

:what: :D

I too thought the same thing when I saw the second tower go...

It reminded me of the videos of when they take down those old Vegas casinos, etc. A perfect implosion from the top all the way down.

But I know thats not the most patriotic thing to say, not that our big brother, hmm hmm, I mean our government would do something like that to further some hidden agenda... And Im not talking about the war in Iraq either.... think about it. Look what they have gained since then, as far as power at home.

Makes ya think....

And the earthquakes? Check out the USGS website, there are hundreds of earthquakes EVERYDAY in th USA. most are in Cali & the Aleutian Islands in Alaska....

Not saying you shouldn't get ready for the SHTF, but it may be too early for those tinfoil hats.

the airliners not actually being capable of knocking down the two towers

Yeah, it was all an elaborate movie set made to deceive us like the moon landings. Its a shame there were no eyewitnesses or video of the WTC collapse or we could prove it happened. I mean, even the buildings are still there, its almost as if it never happened.

And they say muslims arent prone to drug abuse.

Let's call everything a "theory" so as to avoid dealing with it

Wow we do the truth a disservice by using the government's lingo: 1. conspiracy theory (only someone who is completely and utterly ignorant of history would not know that humanity has fallen as a result of insider conspiracies effectively nonstop), 2. "tinfoil hats" (this is an insulting term that is used constantly with no identifiable source or meaning or point, except to attack the messenger).

If the people of this country would spend HALF the energy they spend on mocking conspiracy claims and making personal attacks on those speaking them, on testing those claims for truth with a healthy skepticism of GOVERNMENT (instead of the messenger), true conspiracies would be defeated. That's really the problem. People have skepticism ONLY for their fellow man and not government anymore. They swallow everything government says, but are super duper skeptical at everything said that is CRITICAL of government's version of events.

Think about it, if something is false, mocking the speaker is just avoidance and is totally unnecessary. It's disturbing to see Americans everywhere who play the avoidance game. They don't want to hear about conspiracies in government. Those who do, for the most part, accept conspiracy facts based in truth, and have little to no success in spreading that information to others because of the amazingly closed/empty minds out there.

Americans have been conditioned to ONLY ACCEPT AS TRUE that which provides instant gratification. Things that require some background understanding are shunned. Americans now figure that if they have to learn some things first, they can get out of doing that by calling everything a "theory."

FACT: The government's official version of events of 9/11 is loaded with too many contradictions to name. ON IT'S FACE, the stonewalling and cover up, should be enough to infuriate people at the federal government. If the government's official story is true by default, then why the incredible cover up and secrecy of so many pieces of information? Remember, Bush initially didn't even want the 9/11 commission, when there should be no reason to NOT want a commission if the government was being so honest with the American people.

FACT: No one in the intelligence community (or any informed person for that matter) disputes that Bin Laden was initially a CIA asset and "Al Qaeda" was started by the CIA. The CIA tried, immediately after 9/11 to mock that claim but were forced to admit it (just too many people knew) and put out an interesting and convenient claim that they "lost control" of Al Qaeda, but gave zero specifics about that, and the media (compliant as always) STILL refuses to put this to a wider audience.

FACT: Several of the 9/11 "hijackers" whom the FBI had on their website turned out to be alive and well. Some are still flying for foreign airlines to this day. FOREIGN media interviewed these people, who were stunned to be listed as hijackers, as you would expect, but the U.S. media ignored them entirely. It was/is extremely suspicious how the government came out so fast with all this info on the alleged hijackers expecting no one to question it.

FACT: The government makes claims that are just too good to be true, like the B.S. that Mohommad Atta's passport somehow survived the crash, the collapse, the fire etc, and was conveniently found almost immediately in the WTC rubble. I suspect that SOME of the alleged hijackers actually WERE on those planes and actually DID what the government said they did. I doubt though, that the public will ever know exactly who and how many hijackers there were. The government claiming, almost immediately, that it knew all of their identities (especially when several of the real hijackers probably used fake names) is a little too convenient to be believed. That's my point though. People will swallow the WILDEST theories...well...AS LONG AS IT'S COMING FROM GOVERNMENT.

FACT: The CIA had (I don't know if they still do) a bizarre relationship with Huffman Aviation in Florida where some of the hijackers trained, and this wasn't even brought up by the 9/11 cover up commission (among other things they avoided). There was a flight school where arabic was spoken that is semi close to Huffman Aviation that was NOT used for training.

FACT: Honest F.B.I. agents (both of them :D ) were systematically forbidden to continue their investigations of certain individuals when they stumbled upon the preparations of the hijackers. The higher those honest agents went up the chain of command, the more hardened the stonewalling was. This fits the repeating pattern of high level federal corruption that we've seen in so many other instances over the years.

FACT: The government claimed immediately after 9/11 that there were "tens of thousands" of this alleged "Al Qaeda" that were ALREADY IN the U.S. When asked what happened to them, the government says that they have done such a good job at law enforcement, and of course, thanks to the so called "patriot act," they've somehow been able to "thwart" every single one of them. Really? Israel has the best intel network in the world working on the palistinian terrorists and yet they still have all of the normal attacks that we have NOT had. The kind of attacks you expect when a nation has a bona fide terrorist problem.

Everything I have listed as "FACT" is so. Now I will list some conclusions that are some of the more basic and are quite easy to support (notice I didn't say PROVE, I have had a complete ass full of people who want everything PROVEN to them, and want people to force them to believe so they don't have to think or take a chance. These people are the new mental defectives in my book!).

Conclusion: Flight 93 WAS shot down over PA. Eyewitnesses were just too consistent, and the large engine part that was almost a mile away from the crash site DOES NOT support the government's "theory" (propaganda) that it just simply crashed. Hogwash. (Jeez, we MAY even know who the fighter pilot was, but the report I've found needs a little more confirmation before I say it was actually him. Remember, military personnel are threatened big time if they reveal classified information.)

Conclusion: WTC 7 was obviously brought down by controlled demolition. For pete's sake, it sustained only fire on one side. Go look at all the skyscraper fires in the last several years (there was one recently where the whole skyscraper was gutted) and NONE of them have collapsed, let alone in the all too perfect way that WTC 7 did.

Conclusion: Thermite charges brought down the towers. Workers found pools of molten steel in the basement. Before you call this a "theory" go look up the melting point of steel and ask yourself how those fires got that got in an oxygen starved environment in the basement for weeks. Desks and chairs and papers WILL NOT do that. Remember how the fires burned for weeks? Just where were they getting the fuel and oxygen under all that rubble? The jet fuel was burned up in a matter of minutes. That's a fact folks. Thermite provides IT'S OWN oxygen and gets hot enough to melt steel. SEVERAL firefighters said they heard explosions before the buildings even came down.

Conclusion: The ONLY things we know about this "Al Qaeda" come from the federal government, which is known for only telling the truth 1/10th of the time, on a good day, and is also known for an unparalelled lust for power. I don't believe we can trust the CIA when it says it "lost control" of it's little creation "Al Qaeda." This administration is just like the last one, in that everything it says, is historically either a half truth or a lie. We all know we are subjected to manipulation of public opinion and that we are heavily propagandized. I'm always amazed how just talking about it too specifically gets you called a wacko and a "theorist."

The thing people fail to realize (government schools at work again) is that you can DISprove ANYTHING if you want to. The government schools have everyone trying to force people like me to PROVE A NEGATIVE. They want me to prove to them that things DIDN'T happen the way the government said. An intelligent person can only discuss facts surrounding how things DID happen. The closed minded folks who, without realizing it, worship government as their savior, then predictably say, "Oops, sorry, you're a wacko and 'theorist,' put on your tinfoil hat, because you didn't prove it to me in a way that forced me to believe."

"Beerslurpy" used the classic false form of logic by mocking his opponent with a twisted statement that his opponent never said. What he said was so inane it's not even worth repeating. This is what's out there though. People who will mock and mock and mock so they can avoid the entire subject.

Personal attacks + personal insults + mockery = AVOIDANCE

Can anyone say, paranoid SCHMUCK???

Can anyone say, why the personal attack?

Can anyone say, is that ALL you've got to say?

What did I tell you. People will avoid avoid avoid avoid till the cows come home by using personal attack tactics.

I always get a laugh when people literally have NOTHING else to say BUT personal attacks.

Hey "pythonguy," I didn't throw any personal insult at you, so does it make you feel big and smart by doing it to others without adressing a shred of what they said?

Mr. MasterPiece:

You couldn't be more wrong. There is a reason that people, like me, use the term "tin-foil hat" to describe idiotic conspiracy theories. There are many confusing, incomprehensible events that happen in our lives. We search to make sense of the non-sense.

So, when an otherwise normal person looks at the Twin Towers coming down and decides: "That can't be because a 225 thousand pound passenger jet flying at 500 mph full of innocent people and 10 thousand gallons of JetA caused the collapse!" that otherwise normal person needs a cold, dead fish slap across the face.

The demolition theory, the remote control flight theory, the J-E-W-S did it theory, Bush wanting world domination, etc. etc. etc. is all insanity; idiotic, willfully stupid, insanity. Only a person who wears a tin-foil hat to keep out the mind control radiation tractor beams from the Black Helicopters would believe such non-sense.
