I'm looking to acquire a flap holster for my 1911A1, for field duty.

So far in my research, the only one that isn't leather (I already have leather goods to maintain in the weather) and isn't ugly as a BEAST, and will fit my needs is the Bianchi UM92, Size 1.

Where can I find this at a price that isn't a total bend-over ripoff???

I own Galco and other real-deal chromium-tanned leather holsters that cost a similar coin (or more) to what online folks want for the Bianchi. And they're leather, for God's sake.

Sorry, I'm not looking to pay that kinda money on a totally synthetic, mass-produced piece of hardware just because the tacticool fanbois will.

It is, however, the only flap holster that meets my needs and that I can stand to even look at. I know the M1916 and M1940 or whatever are classics, but they are ugly as SIN BEATEN DOWN, and I already have other outdoor leather to maintain.

Best price, anywhere? Can't I get this for 40 bucks???

Grab a M12 on ebay or a surplus store. Paid $25 for one recently on ebay and it's good to go. Basically the same holster as the UM92 from what I read.

my M12 holster will hold a 5" 1911. Its a bit snug going in, you have to push on the back of the slide so it doesn't rack the slide while holstering if its not locked . Don't know if its adjustable or not, doesn't look like it to me
But it retains and protects it just fine, draw is fine
About 1/3 the price of the M92 holster on ebay.

The holster is lined with memory foam that forms to the gun
