Well, what is tops in your opinion?

For sandbags (ie old jeans), sand does seem to work well. But, I'm open to other stuff to try out if you think it is better.

But for squeeze bags, I haven't found anything I love. Got any recommendations?

I'm using old panty hose (wife's, not mine :neener:) for squeeze bags but I'm open to other suggestions as well. I've thought about airsoft BBs but I haven't tried them yet.

Thoughts/comments?

Lincoln 960 subarc welding flux has worked EXCELLENTLY for me.

Less dense than sand, with course grains that settle very little and free to me what's not to love

Thanks guys. I'd prefer to stay away from organic stuff, but I still may give rice a shot.

Looks like I'll be calling out to the welding supply store today. If they don't have that, do you have any alternate recommendations? (I don't know anything about welding - would most other flux be of similar size etc?)

BTW, definitely some classy guys lurking in the shadows of THR last night apparently.

After using everything above and a few others I like
Bird seed the best.

Place a heavy plastic bag inside your sandbag, bank/coin bag, shot bag or jeans and then add the bird seed, seal the plastic bag and sew the outer.

Gallon freezer bag filled with oldfashioned clay kitty litter, size to slide into old jeans leg, stitch the ends, slip into a slightly larger old jeans leg, tie off the ends. Use and abuse for years.
