Deciding between Cuddeback NoFlash IR 3 megapixel, 6 month battery life, no viewing screen, or Moultire IR Game Spy 6 magapixel has viewing screen, 150 day battery life.
Both are same price, day/night game camera w/infrared flash, still pics/vids, waterpoof, stormproof capable. Which brand has best reputation for service and performing as advertised?

:banghead: yes, move to hunting.

There is no choice there. Cuddeback wrote the book on quality. Moultrie is an also ran. At least that's the way it was a year or two back when I looked into it. Suggest this be moved to the hunting forum, with the OP's backing.

Ive got 5 moultrie IR cameras, battery life is about 4 months... with a 2gb sd card on hi res I have gotten as many as 1200 pictures.
All of mine have done well, 1 out of 100 night shots might be a bad picture. Im well satisfied for the cost.

I run 3 Moultries and there is also a 4th on my property. I have the I-60 and 2 of the I-40s. The I-60 has the viewer and is 6.0 megapixels. Honestly, the viewer isn't a lot of help unless you want to spot deer or other big game in the images. Even then, the tiny screen is of limited use.

The 6.0 megapixels are better than the 4.0 megapixels, but not greatly so.

Both the I-60 and I-40 cameras have the same flash features for night. The real differences are that the I-60 has 2 more megapixels, the viewer and a barometer. Both will print the date, time, moon phase, and temperature, along with a naming label.

Regardless of the night IR cameras I have seen, you get blurry images at night if animals are in motion and they aren't going to be crystal clear to begin with.

Moultrie. I have a Moultrie that I bought this year. I put a 5 gig card because it has an option of recording video. I love because the pics are clear and precise. The only thing that I think could be said that is negative is that the start up time is a little slow. Like if the camera is in sleep mode and something triggers it, it takes a little longer than I`d like before the pic is taken. But, once it is "awake" it does the job perfectly.
