Best online dealers

I have purchased a couple of firearms through the Gallery of Guns.

If you shop carefully (especially when they have items on sale) you can match or beat the prices at Cheaper Than Dirt or Buds. The fact that you can use a credit card with no penalty and determine the total costs up front are a big plus. They ship almost immediately to your designated FFL and send you the tracking info. so you can be aware of where things stand. They also have a Lifetime Warranty on the guns they sell...another plus.

I've used them before and I will use them again as they are good to do business with.

Centerfiresystems, CDNN, Aimsurplus, Buds, have always been good to me.

CDNN and Summit Gun broker have done well by me. Good price, good service and no penalty for any form of payment. Always found better prices there than some of the bigger online dealers.

I've ordered from Wideners, AIM Surplus, and Classic Arms. Wideners took almost 3 weeks between me placing my order and the gun showing up at my door (it was a C&R), but it was a darn good price, I'm patient, and I didn't mind. AIM and Classic Arms have had good deals, excellent condition C&Rs so far, and pretty fast shipping.

AIM definitely has the most user friendly website. Classic Arms strikes me as a mom & pop type operation but their service has been top notch so far.

I ordered a new Ruger Blackhawk last night from GrabAGun.com
Best price I could find...NO HIDDEN FEES...and shipping was only $5.99
They have a 5 star rating too.

A couple months ago, I ordered a Beretta Cx4 9mm Storm Carbine from East Coast Gun Sales.com
Absolutely no problems with them either.

I've heard some pretty shady things about Bud's.
They get horrible reviews so I will not use them.

CDNN and Buds are my favorites, never an issue

Palmetto state armory (ordered 5 psa lowers) and Carricoz (ordered 2 mega lowers) have both been great to work with. For other AR parts Brightflashlights is excellent (best YHM prices ive seen - selling new at used prices and amazingly fast shipping) as well as RRarms and JSE surplus. The other big names are good too (midway, ctd, brownelles, midsouth, natchezss, etc.) and i have heard good things about Buds, Grabagun, and Aimsurplus. Sorry to ramble.

That said, i have had the best luck with individual people (mostly on ar15 and pafoa).

Buds is the only shop I've dealt with online. I've purchased 3 firearms from them. My only complaint is that their description was off on a pistol I bought. Was a Sig that had siglite in the description but came with standard contrast sights. I notified them and they made it right with an $100 credit towards another purchase. They shipped all 3 very promptly. I'd recommend them.

Bud's has been very good, as have the sellers on Gunbroker. I have also been fortunate in deals made through this site.

Buds, CDNN, Aim Surplus, DSG arms, Classic Arms, Centerfire Systems, Palmetto State Armory. All good retailers!

Sometimes CDNN will buy a huge quantity of something and give huge discounts!

<sarcasm>Didn't we just have a thread on why you should support the LGS? Ya'll are causing the downfall of the American mom & pop small business by shopping online to save $5.</sarcasm>

If it was up to me, there's be something similar to the 03 FFL that'd be a 'buying only' license that'd allow you to have any firearm shipped straight to your door. The downside would be that if you wished to sell you'd have to sell to another license holder or a 01, and you'd have to keep a bound book.

Nobody has mentioned J&G Sales. I haven't bought any guns from them yet but I did get 2 East German AK47 bayonets there. They do seem to charge $10 - 30 more for most C&R guns that AIM, Classic Arms, and Wideners do.

One of them used to have a year end layaway program. I always meant to take advantage of that but never did. Now I cant find it. I think Buds does 90 day which is also great.

I've bought from Bud's, Red's (Via GB), Centerfire, and CDNN. No problems with any of them, and every one of the used guns I bought were better than described or looked in the pics.
