I am in the market for a crimson trace, viridian green, lasermax, or tlr-2; basically any top-quality laser or laser/light combo. Problem is, I'm also cheap and a bargain hunter. I have tried looking on ebay...does anybody know of any really good places to get great deals - I don't even mind looking at used ones. Thanks.

Repeating my post from another forum.

Here are some other sources with good prices. I bought mine from Syrma Shooter's Supply, the first one.

The links are for the M&P series because that is the one's I was looking for but these had good prices on others as well.

Free shipping at the Shooter's Resource made it the best deal but they didn't have the M&P compact in stock when I was ordering.

I opted out of getting a green laser when I read about how "delicate" they were. It all has to do with the complicated system that converts the beam to green light. The conversion system is temperature sensitive...limiting the range of temperatures they can be used at. It draws a lot more power and the stackup of lenses is easier to be knocked out of adjustment. It is a lot more expensive too.

From a practical standpoint there is the risk of hurting your night vision from the bright green light...especially if the beam hits a reflection. Also, you can see the entire beam...not just the light at the laser and point of impact...which can help the BG track back to you.

Ideally, it would be nice to have a laser that adjusts....red at night...green at day...but there isn't anything like that out there.

Botach has a terrible history on every weapons-related site on the internet. Google them and see for yourself before you do any business with them.

I've heard that but I've ordered four times from them and had good service. The TLR lights actually arrived days before I expected them.

I had trouble with one of 5 flashlights I ordered. They told me to send it back and they would send another. I told them I didn't want to be bothered with sending it back, so we'll just forget it.
They told me in that case on my next order they would deduct the cost of the light from my bill.

Maybe I will have trouble on my next order but so far they have been as good or better than any other place I've ordered from.
