I have a Webley Vulcan that I purchased about 33 years ago and would like to get the seals replaced along with the spring. I currently live in Colorado and was wondering if some of you folks can point me to a good local airgun smith of if that's not possible a company that can be trusted to fix this old friend.

Redd,

Thanks, I used to be really into air guns but put them away many years ago. Mine look great still but seals have dried out over time and I am picky about who works on my stuff. Thanks for your help. I will go through the information you provided. I am planning to my stuff tuned up so I can pass it on to grand kids so they can have fun the way I did so many years ago.

It's your $ but I think shipping both ways and labor could end up being substantial. Few places do that sort of work so finding a local shop is slim. A regular gunsmith can no doubt do it, but it'll likely be his first time and he may make a mistake. I suggest doing the work yourself but that's up to you. If it's that old I wouldn't chance firing it even once until the seal was at least looked at. Who knows on yours but just not worth the risk since it can damage the gun if the seal doesn't seal.
