Best rifle for .22 rim benchrest matches

Yes Im looking to get in to bench matches at my club such as IR50 50 and 100 yards....Bolt Gun preferred....Give me some examples of what to look for. (Make and model). Im sure there are alot of customs as well. I already have a 700p in .308 and Howa 1500 in .223 so im no terribly new to rifles but just to rimfire. Please help... Also do these guys and load?and if so How?(Rimfire)...

This past weekend, my daughter and I took it to the outdoor range. At 30 yards, off the bench, the rifle managed to place all 10 shots through a very smooth, single hole using:

CCI Green Tag
Winchester T22 Target
Remington Target 22
Eley Club XTRA

All fours ammunitions were flat-out equal...single hole, 10-shot groups. I could not get a measure on center-to-center, because the clusters were too tight. I had to measure outside-to-outside. The holes all were in the range of 0.25" to 0.27 at 30 yards!!!

I shot .22 benchrest for a couple of years. Folks who were cleaning "The Green Monster" target at 25 yards and doing well at 50, often used Anschutz rifles. Not stock Anschutz rifles either. Many had new synthetic stocks and some had barrel tuners.

Rifles from the former East Germany also had a following. I am misremembering the name of those rifles at the moment. They were recently available again at CDNN, I think. (Might have been Southern Ohio Gun).

I started out with a 10/22 with a laminated stock and a 4-10 power scope. Moved to a Remington 541- T HB and then to a Remington 40X from the CMP. Did best with the 40X and a scope with a top power of 24X. Some other shooters also used 40Xs, some with custom stocks, triggers and tuners. HTH.

Get a Anschutz 2013 action, toss it in a McMillan stock and add a Lilja or Benchmark barrel. Then feed it good ammo.

Depending on your budget, if you don't have a ton of money to throw into a benchrest rifle right from the start, you might look into a target bull-barreled bolt action from Savage. I currently shoot a Mark-II BTVS (laminate thumbholed stock) from Savage. Very very nice shooter. Very accurate as well. More accurate than I'm capable and I have shot .27" groups center-to-center through it with just Federal Premium target ammunition. Haven't had a chance to try anything else.

You also might try finding an older Remington 513-T bolt action. Another very accurate rifle. It was used as a training rifle in the military as well. Again, capable of .25" center-to-center groups at 25 meters.

Just a couple more options.
