Hello All.............

Give your two cents on the best thigh holster available. Handguns being fitted for are a SA 1911 and a Glock 23.

I have used a few models in the past with a Colt 1911-A1. I'd like some updates on what's currently available, practical, tactical and affordable.

Thanks!

Although I am not a fan of thigh holsters, I can think of 3 that I would prolly buy if I were so inclined...

blade-tec.com

or

Cen-Dex.com

or

AWWW crap, cant think of the same.....GRRRRRRRR

OHHH yea... www.Stellar-rigs.com

All are made out of souless synthetic :fire:

not sure of the above URL's...put them into google if they dont work..

I bought a Blackhawk a long time ago for my USP .45. Never really got a chance to use it very much, but the times that I did I remember that I wasn't excited about it. I mean... yeah it worked ... but there was something that just didn't seem "right" with it.

I've always heard that the Safariland 6004's are the best there is.

High Speed Gear makes a great drop holster. I have the one with the removable flap. Its very well made and well thought out. The piece that attaches to your leg has constant tension on it and it doesnt loosen up or move around like the straps.

The moderator of this forum is involved in the production of a holster that may put the 6004 into second place. Take a look at the G-code. I know that one military unit is testing them now and they are getting good reveiws so far.
