Turkey hunters like tight chokes, heavy loads, light totable shotguns with unobtrusive finishes.
Use a shotgun you have with a tight choke. Try out various loads, using turkey patterning targets to get apples to apples results.
The best load in one shotgun here is regarded as useless or worse in some other folks' shotguns and vice versa. Find what works for YOU.
Super heavy loads work better at long range. But, part of the challenge is not to see how far off one can take a turkey, but how close. Taking a gobbler at 15 yards will slam your heart into warp drive....
