Biased One Sided Hearings in the US House of Reps

Committee Republicans, led by ranking member Darrell Issa (R-Cal.), noted the hearing’s lack of balance in a letter to Chairman Kucinich. That letter suggested the majority intended "to silence entirely the view of Second Amendment supporters by denying them the ability to present even a single witness," and suggested that the hearing should have focused on problems with the instant check system.

 Typical Califo- huh, what?

Drawing a line in the sand and saying "No further, push us and we will push back."

That is because most gun owners are sensible, logical people with a lot to loose if they push back in the way you, I believe, are suggesting. Those who push this anti-gun garbage have nothing to lose by continuing their steady erosion of your rights. They exempt from their bills those that must protect them from the people whos' rights they trample. The problem with fighting irrational people with power is that they truly believe they are right and have the might, and media coverage, to make it so. You, on the other hand, don't.

Only if one insists on playing their game.

When one cares more about appearances and the system than one's own rights, one has lost already.

In the patriotic struggle against the malignant gun control interest groups and their puppet legislators, we shall have indeed to undergo more difficulties and sacrifices, but we are sure to win total victory. This is an absolute certainty.

Well of course it was biased and one-sided. The head honcho of the committee has already made up his mind, so the hearing is just a formality.

Kucinich may play the part of party wacko, but not when it comes to guns. That really is the way the top leadership of the Democratic party feels about guns.

Years ago I might have favored "common sense" gun control (whatever that is), but with the stupidity of the Clinton Ban in 1994, everytime I hear that someone proposes gun control, I automatically oppose it without caring what it says, as so much of gun control is just stupid legislation proposed by people who haven't a clue.

With bills like this, I believe the statement people prefer to feel more "safe
than free" comes directly to mind..Can you just imagine how warped this
Nation will be in say 20 yrs regarding firearms ? Dad always said hope
for the best while expecting the worse..
