Without a doubt this will be fullpacked again . I think they usually have like 2000 tables of guns , knives , junk and jerkies. Just entering Reliant Park will cost $7 for parking fee , and $10 just to get into the gunshow itself. If you want to see guns, you got to pay.

How did the last one go? I think I'll stay home and avoid the chaos. I doubt there's many deals to be had in the current panicked environment.

You re right , its crowded and high prices in all areas. No deals to find.

HGCA puts on a good show, but with the current craziness I won't bother. Although I did give some thought to standing outside with a bag of 30 round mags and asking for the best offers just to get some excitement for the weekend.

This will be the first HGCA show I've missed in a long time, but I'm going to the Maker Fair in Stafford tomorrow, taking a look at 3D printers :)

The lines at the Dec 29 GRB show were so long at 8:30AM I just turned around and went home. I think parking at Reliant is up to $10 now :(

The show at $8 is a relative bargain, the Maker Fair is $20.

News at 10: Local man mobbed by panicked crowd for his stash of 30 round magazine. :neener:

I will be there in an hour or so selling a single 30 round AR magazine at the most stupid exorbitant price you can imagine..........................

(Because I am such a nice guy I will throw in a free AR with it's purchase:cool:.)

The show here today had lines to get in like I have never seen. I got there 20 minutes after they opened, and I stood in line 45 minutes to get in.

Prices on semi autos like AR's, Sig 556s, FALs, etc were double or more. .223 was at $1000 per K! P Mags $40 and up.

Revolver fans had some good deals to choose from. A friend picked up a nice 4" Dan Wesson in .357 Mag.

The last 2 shows I attended were well packed, but there were some good deals on revolvers. The most overlooked firearm out there today.

Went today looking for some old beretta's or Walthers in .380. Saw a few but prices were too high. If I go tomorrow I might be able to do better, but it was expensive to park and get in! Will probably go to GRB next weekend to look around and sell some AR mags, which will fund parking & admission to the next few shows.

Was fun to walk around, look, and talk to all sorts of interesting people. I think that is my favorite part right now...
