Has commented on the Trayvon Martin case. He opinion is the tragic event was not the result of racism. In his mind it's a gun issue. Here we go (again).

Activism requires a plan of action.

In all fairness, he did say that people who carry guns should be trained to only use deadly force as a last resort, and I agree with this. I tell my students that SGY and Castle Doctrine laws are good to have as a cushion just in case, but you should never use deadly force unless you can safely say you had no other choice. These laws shouldn't change the way you approach self defense.

I believe there are laws dealing with this situation already.

The media had decided to play judge and jury, where are the people fighting that situation, publicly commenting about showboating and capitalizing on someone's death in the lag time of "due process"...
